The Industrial Relations Society of Victoria publishes its Newsletter four times per year. GUIDELINES FOR CONTRIBUTIONS TO IRSV NEWS BULLETIN Principles: The purpose of encouraging contributions are to stimulate and contribute to informed and enlightened thought, comment and debate in the practice of industrial relations. To this end, the following guidelines have been established. Guidelines: The contribution: - Should meet the principles outlined above.
- May comment on political events concerning the implications of proposals, provided that the contribution is not political comment.
- Is not to be personal in nature, whether in the form of abuse or promotion of the contributor or abuse of others.
Responsibilities of the Editor The editor has the right to review contributions for length and content to ensure the contribution is appropriate for the IRSV News Bulletin. Any editorial changes made to contributions will be referred back to the contributor for approval before publishing. Dispute Resolution If the editorial changes are unacceptable to the contributor, they may be discussed with the editor in order to obtain agreement on the form and content of the contribution. If agreement cannot be reached, at the request of the contributor, the matter may be referred to the convenor of the publishing sub-committee. If the contributor finds the decision of the convenor of the publishing sub-committee is unacceptable, the contribution may be referred to the President of the IRSV for consideration. |
