Another successful function with the President and most members of the AIRC in attendance, along with 70 members of the IRSV. 

AGM Patron's Night - November 2002

Professor Ron Callus presented at the AGM Patron's Night.  Hugh Armstrong, a former IRSV President 1997 and IRSA President 2001 was made a life member. 

The National Convention - October 2002

The 2002 Convention was again held at the Melbourne Zoo.  Attendances were up from 2001 and the Great Debate chaired by Commissioner Foggo has grown into one of the features of the Convention.  Justice Giudice opened the program, the Year in Review summary was presented by Jenny Firkin, with Carl Phillips (AWU), Glenda Beecher (Maddocks) and Leyla Yilmaz (VACC) giving an excellent panel session on the Fair Employment Bill which was then before the Victorian Parliament.
